Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you (the company or person opening a JoinerDesk workspace, “you”) and JoinerDesk (“we”, “us”). By creating a workspace you accept these terms. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm you may bind it.

1. The service

JoinerDesk is a hosted tool that helps joinery companies build, price and send quotes, including AI-assisted reading of drawings and documents you upload. We provide the service on a subscription basis and may improve or change features over time.

2. Your account

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service. In particular you will not:

4. Plans, trials and payment

New workspaces start on a free trial with a limited number of AI quotes. Paid plans have monthly limits shown in your workspace under Billing. Prices are in pounds sterling and exclude VAT unless stated. When card billing is available, fees are charged in advance for each period and are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.

5. Your content and our AI

You keep ownership of the drawings, documents and quote data you put into JoinerDesk. You grant us the limited right to store and process that content to run the service, including sending relevant parts to our AI providers to produce quotes. We do not sell your content, and we do not use it to train third-party models beyond producing your own results.

6. Availability

We work to keep the service available and deploy updates without downtime, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. AI output is a starting point and must be checked by a person before a quote is sent to a client — you are responsible for the quotes you issue.

7. Data protection

We handle personal data in line with our Privacy Policy and UK data protection law. Where we process personal data on your behalf, a data processing agreement will apply.

8. Ending the agreement

9. Liability

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for quotes or business decisions you make using the service.

10. Changes and law

We may update these terms and will post the new version here with an updated date; significant changes will be notified. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
